I’m quite late getting this week’s grocery haul posted. In fact, I’ll be shopping again tomorrow!
I didn’t need a whole lot this past week but did take advantage of sales on canned beans, frozen vegetables and a box of brownie mix. Our little granddaughter loves to make brownies with Gramma so I make sure to stay stocked up on mixes, especially when I see them on sale.

Our weekly menu…
We had a few changes from this planned menu. We met up with friends for dinner at a local Mexican restaurant Tuesday night. Chris made himself burritos with some of the leftover pot roast.
David has a meeting in South Texas Monday morning and left around noon today (Sunday). We saved the roast for next week since he wouldn’t be here. Chris offered to pick up sandwiches at Jimmy John’s for the two of us this evening for dinner so I didn’t have to cook.
