This is a screen shot from my phone. This is our weather prediction. This is totally unacceptable. I’m supposed to help oversee the serving of lunch at United Campus Ministry tomorrow. I was also supposed to attend a prayer meeting for the UCM board tomorrow night but that’s been postponed due to the weather. I left my food contribution for the lunch in our church kitchen and have made arrangements with someone who lives in town and is also helping with the lunch to take it over to UCM if weather prevents me from driving to town. I hope the weather prediction is wrong but if it’s not, I’m staying home and baking chocolate chip cookies. If I can’t live somewhere tropical, I can at least have homemade cookies, right? But I’d really rather be somewhere warm listening to something like this:
