I love books with that Francophile vibe and this month I’ve chosen one by a favorite author, Jennifer L. Scott. Her first book, Lessons From Madame Chic, was excellent and I’ve been looking forward to reading this month’s selection, At Home With Madame Chic: Becoming a Connoisseur of Daily Life.

At Home With Madame Chic: Becoming a Connoisseur of Daily Life
At Home with Madame Chic reveals the secrets to having a happy, fulfilling, and passionate life at home. Jennifer explains the morning send-off need not be chaotic, it’s possible to look stylish with minimal time and effort, a little forethought makes it possible to serve a home-cooked dinner every night, and details like music and scented candles can set the tone for the whole family’s evening. Organized by the pleasures that can be found throughout the day, this charming, helpful book is full of ideas, playlists, recipes, beauty routines, and advice that can turn an irritating day into an enjoyable experience.
Have you read any of Ms. Scott’s books? What did you think of them? Here is the link to the book review I did on her first book:
She also has a website:
And a very popular YouTube channel:

I love Jennifer’s books! They were the first “Chic” books I read and they started me on a path of loving French-inspired books.
What are some of your other favorites? Have you read Anne Barone’s books? They were my introduction to Francophile books. Not as well-written as Jennifer’s but interesting, nonetheless.
Enjoy the book.
Thanks! I’m sure I will.
