All of my feathered earrings come from either my beloved backyard chickens or a friend’s nearby farm and are collected after they fall off the chickens on their own — hence being cruelty free. The leather/suede comes from thrift stores and is up-cycled into earrings.
A quick look at how feathers are usually obtained will horrify you so I’m very happy that Avian Designs’ feathers are obtained in a cruelty-free manner. And I’m always happy to see items reused and up-cycled like the source for the leather earrings I’m giving away.

My favorite are the purple, turquoise, black and grey, I think is the last color? But mainly I like all of the ones with turquoise color and the turquoise bead. I also like the red and black ones!! All of them are pretty, it’s just choosing the colors you like the most!!
I really do love these. I’m sure I’ll be collecting them. And I’ll definitely be wearing my new purple ones for Happyland next weekend. 🙂
