One of my favorite things to order at a diner, ever since I was a kid, is a club sandwich. Granted, this can be hit or miss but a really good one just makes me happy.
One of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had is sadly no longer on the menu at Stanley restaurant in New Orleans. Thickly sliced roast turkey, bacon, cranberry sauce, cornbread dressing, basil mayo and arugula on a freshly baked croissant. Delicious!

I love a good veggie sandwich, and cheese (admittedly dairy free in my case, but still) with either onions, pickles, Marmite, or cranberry sauce, tastes really good too.
