Today was our big shopping day. Lisa and I headed out this morning and met up with Audrey (Lisa’s best friend since childhood), Kadi (Chris’ girlfriend) and Addie (Kadi’s sister) for lunch at our favorite restaurant in Norman, Pink Elephant Cafe and Tres Cantina. We all enjoyed our yummy food and a nice visit then Lisa and I did our grocery shopping.
We went to a total of six stores plus dropped off our recycling and still managed to finish up much earlier than usual. We were back in town by 6 p.m. It was rather nice to be home well before dark and in time for dinner. I had taken out some homemade enchiladas from the freezer and put in the fridge this morning. David put them in the oven for me just as we were coming into town so by the time I had dropped off Lisa, driven home, and put away everything, dinner was done. I really must put some more entrees in the freezer for easy dinners on busy nights.
Before I put the groceries away I arranged them on the table for a picture. I then decided to take a short video with the new app, Vine. And then forgot to take actual photos! Oh, well. Here is the video:
