Did you ever read the children’s book, “Alexander and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day”? I used to read it to my kids and after the day I’ve had, it was brought to mind. One of my family members is hurting and I had to have another cat put to sleep today. What made it even harder is that David was out of town for the day and I had to handle these things myself. It’s definitely been a “terrible, horrible, no good, very bad day”. But I’ll get through it and tomorrow is another day.

Sorry mom, if something like that ever happens again call me! Love you!
Cherie says
Oh, I'm so sorry for what you're going through. I do remember that book as I read it to my children, as well. If only our problems were as simple as Alexander's.

Lisa: Thanks. I did think about calling you but I guess the mom in me wanted to spare you. I love you, too.
Cherie: Thanks and yes, I would have happily traded with Alexander. 😉
