The music and art festival we helped organize Saturday was a huge success. And utterly exhausting! David was in town at 7 a.m. to set up one of the stages and I left home at 10:30 a.m. to join him (I needed to walk Shiloh as late as possible). We got home about 1:30 a.m. I walked over 20,000 steps according to my Fitbit and stood the rest of the time. My poor feet may never recover!
This week I’ll be doing my monthly grocery shopping trip with Lisa of Retro Housewife Goes Green on Tuesday. We have local music events Monday and Thursday. I have choir rehearsal Wednesday. But then! David is whisking me away for the weekend for a belated birthday celebration. Somewhere in there I hope to clean my poor, neglected house.

Glad it all went well. Hope you enjoy your shopping trip with Lisa.
Things didn’t go quite to plan last week, so things got moved along a couple of days. Still, I mostly stuck to my menu last week, and have a menu again this week, so here it is:
Monday: I didn’t end up making the quiche until Sunday, so I had leftovers of that with mashed potatoes and baked beans for Monday’s dinner.
Tuesday: Veggie breakfast wraps.
Wednesday: Tortilla pizzas.
Thursday: Crispy potatoes with mixed vegetables.
Friday: Vegetable korma with brown rice and pitta bread.
Saturday: leftovers from Friday.
Sunday: Roast potatoes and mixed vegetables.
