It’s time for Menu Monday again! We’ve got a fun and busy week ahead. Take a peak at my menu plan to see what we’ve got happening around here.

Dee’s Weekly Menu 

Monday

It’s the 4th of July or Independence Day here in the U.S. We already went to a fireworks display Saturday night so I don’t think we’ll brave the crowds at the local park. David is planning to mow and I’ll be cleaning house. It will most likely just be the two of us for dinner so I’ll keep it simple. 

• grilled sausages
• macaroni salad
• baked beans
• fresh cherries

Tuesday

My sister-in-law is in town visiting her daughter and we are having them over for dinner. 

• tacos made with Mexican-style meat
• fresh corn on the cob
• chips and salsa
• homemade peach ice cream

Wednesday

David will be out of town. I figure there will be leftovers for me to eat. 

Thursday

It’s the first Thursday of the month so that means “East End Eats“, a local event with live music and food trucks. 

Friday

• One Pan Mediterranean Chicken with Roasted Red Pepper Sauce
• rice
• green beans
• salad

Saturday

We are hosting a Mad Men dinner party at a local restaurant. 

Sunday

We’ll eat at a local Mexican restaurant after church and save half for dinner.
