But the fun doesn’t stop there. On Saturday night David and I joined several friends at Vintage 22, the local wine and dessert bar, for more live music…by the same guys from Thursday evening. “Frail” is a relatively new local duo. (They also performed at our recent Happyland Music Fest.) We sat on the patio and enjoyed an amazing night of music, friends and good times. I’d have to say the highlight might have been when we saw the reflection of flashing lights above the privacy fence around the patio and found out that someone had called in a noise complaint. The music wasn’t loud at all but it was midnight and I guess the old people across the street weren’t enjoying it nearly as much as we were. I hope I never get so old that I can’t appreciate people having some harmless fun.
Here are some pics from Saturday night. I really need to get a small camera to keep in my purse. An iPhone is great but without a flash, low-light pictures don’t turn out very well.
Dee! Thanks so much for supporting us! Those two nights were by far my very favorites! Saturday was a blast! Hope to see you at the next one!
We plan to be there. Thanks for the private concert. 🙂
Deanna, You didn't even mention your delicious blackberry cobbler, which was a highlight of the supper Thursday night. 😉 And I agree, FRAIL is fantastic. It's exciting to see a local band so fresh and passionate. How lucky were we to have them over on our own Mid-Summer Night? And "Crash"…sigh…
Cathlena, if I had mentioned the cobbler I'd also have needed to mention your delicious pepperoni chicken. But I'm hoping to talk you into sharing the recipe as a guest post on "Dee's Kitchen" so we'll just wait for that. 🙂
