This past weekend we hosted the third annual Happyland Music Fest and oh, what a time we had! We started setting up Friday afternoon. A few of Chris’ friends went ahead and set up their tents and stayed the night so they could all get up early Saturday to finish getting things ready. Others started arriving around noon, set up their tents and then just hung out listening to the playlist of summer tunes that Chris had put together. Around 6 p.m. the live music began. There were eight bands/music acts and so the music went on until close to 1 a.m.
I don’t have an exact count but we are estimating that nearly 75 people were here to enjoy the fun times this year. We are all still trying to recover but I think we all agree that Happyland Music Fest is a great way to kick off the summer.
