David needed to be in the Dallas/Fort Worth area on business Friday and took me with him. I spent the day sitting in the Suburban at the work site which isn’t as bad as it sounds. It was a lovely, warm day so I soaked up some sun while reading, listening to an audio book…
You Don’t See That Every Day…
This is a picture of a streetcar in New Orleans today. Snow is pretty uncommon there. In fact, so far today I’ve received pictures of the snow from friends in Baton Rouge, New Orleans and Beaumont, Texas. I think there were some pretty excited kids.

Back from New Orleans…reluctantly…

Still no freaking internet service…
Nine days. Nine freaking days with no internet service at home. And it looks like it might be a few more days. At least New Orleans didn’t get wiped out. Hopefully I’ll be back online soon and maybe even with something interesting to write about. Or maybe just a diatribe on incompetence.
