Thankfulness…

We are sharing what we are thankful for on an email list I belong to and thought I would share my list here:

1. Malory! (our cat who went missing and turned up just before I wrote my list)
2. a sovereign God who answers prayers
3. my dear husband and the amazing relationship we share
4. my children and son-in-law
5. parents, grandmother, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and other assorted relatives
6. dear friends (especially my CCU sisters)
7. a warm house
8. plenty to eat
9. modern appliances that make my life so much easier
10. hot and cold running water
11. a big load of wood for our fireplace
12. the Earl Grey tea I enjoy every day
13. all our various pets that bring so much joy to our lives
14. chickens to give us eggs
15. books!
16. my church family
17. our Suburban which we just paid off this month
18. David, Chris and Justin all have good, steady jobs
19. my computer and high speed internet
20. our comfy bed with good mattress, nice sheets and down comforter
21. good health
22. music
23. chocolate
24. flowers
25. Christmas…all it represents and just the sheer joy of it
