It’s time for my weekly review again. Already! Let’s see…what did I do this week? I actually went a whole week without a meeting!
David’s boss was in town Wednesday and the three of us went out to dinner which was nice. And David took me out last night for a “date night”, something we hadn’t done in awhile. I’m sorry to say the meal was a little disappointing. Apparently the “chef” had no concept of how to cook a filet rare or medium rare. I ordered it rare because I was figured I could send it back if it was underdone. It came back medium to medium well. (Sad face) I almost never send anything back but when a restaurant is charging $34 for a steak I want it cooked properly. The waitress was really nice (her name was Deanna, too!) and absolutely agreed it was overcooked. The second time around it was only slightly less cooked – about medium – but David was almost through with his meal by this time so I kept it. I guess I learned, once again, that there are few places in Oklahoma that understand how to cook a steak. There is an amazing restaurant in Oklahoma City which does this to perfection. From now on, I’ll skip the steaks except there.
Tonight we are going out to dinner with our daughter and son-in-law…and our son if he doesn’t end up with other plans. This will be at the local Italian restaurant and their food is always good.
This coming week looks to be a busy one. David has a firefighter meeting Monday evening. Tuesday we have the first board meeting for the non-profit we are starting and I have a hair appointment that afternoon. Wednesday night I have choir rehearsal. Thursday, David will be out of town for the day and I have a board meeting that evening. I don’t think we have anything planned Friday night. Maybe we’ll take another stab at a “date night”. Ha!

QUOTE OF THE WEEK
I hope you’ve had a lovely week and that you have some fun things planned for the week ahead.

I’m sorry your dinner wasn’t to your liking. If you try another date night this week, I hope you have better luck with the meal.
About the most exciting thing that happened to me last week was that I took advantage of the freed up time from my cancelled dentist appointment to work on the formatting for the internal files for a couple of stories I’d finnished, got the eBook versions pre-released, and sent the stuff to the person who helps with the print covers so he can start working on the cover files for the paperback versions.

We went out last night with our daughter and son-in-law and had a lovely evening. And good food. 🙂
That is really exciting about your book project! I’m planning to write my first eBook this year.

That’s great… Both about the meal out and the planned eBook. 🙂
