I’m trying to catch my breath – literally. I’ve been dealing with an asthma attack this past week which has really put a damper on my Christmas plans. We were going to my niece’s and nephew’s Christmas program Monday night but I ended up doing a breathing treatment instead. I was so disappointed that I didn’t get to see them. I’ve skipped other activities this week as well. David and I went out late this afternoon to finish getting the last items for the kids’ stockings. Yes, we still do them for our adult children. I just finished cooking the items I’m taking to our extended family gathering tomorrow at noon. Now I just need to wrap some gifts and can call it quits for tonight.
My mom and daughter are both sick so our plans for Christmas day are still a bit unsettled. But it will all work out one way or another, I’m sure. I refuse to let anything get me down during the holidays.
