Welcome to the fourth week of February’s LWD Grocery Haul series in which I share our weekly grocery purchases, including prices. I’m always curious to see what others purchase and what food prices are in different countries or regions. I hope you are finding this series interesting and helpful.

LWD GROCERY HAUL
February 2025 ~ Week Four
PRUETT’S (REGIONAL GROCERY STORE):
We had a meeting for our nonprofit at 5 p.m. last night (outdoors because it was THAT nice!) and several of us brought snacks to share. The two boxes of crackers (one regular and one gluten-free) and the two packages of Kraft cheese slices in this grocery haul were my contributions. I brought back half a box of the Ritz crackers, sent the remaining gluten-free crackers home with my gluten-free friend and we all finished off the cheese. It was so lovely to share a drink and snacks with these dear friends. The meeting only lasted about 15 minutes but we all stayed and chatted for close to two hours.

Our weekly menu…
It was nearly 7:30 when we got home last night after our meeting. David and Chris just heated up some of the leftover pot roast and veggies rather than waiting another 20 minutes for me to turn it into soup. I wasn’t very hungry after snacking on cheese, crackers, fresh veggies and fruit at our meeting so I just made a cup of tea and some raisin toast for my “supper”.
