Welcome to the second week of April’s LWD Grocery Haul series in which I share our weekly grocery purchases, including prices. I’m always curious to see what others purchase and what food prices are in different countries or regions. I hope you are finding this series interesting and helpful.

PREVIOUS GROCERY HAUL POSTS IN THIS SERIES:

This grocery haul is making me hungry! Those frozen crinkle fries at $6.99 seem like a steal. I’m curious, how do you decide what to make with all these ingredients? Do you plan your meals in advance or just wing it? And that cinnamon raisin bagels price has me thinking about a sweet breakfast. ????
I agree – the fries were indeed a good deal. They were out of the brand I had ordered but my shopper asked if this substitution would be okay. I couldn’t tell any difference so I’ll be buying these in the future.
I do plan my meals in advance. It might not always be clear from the menu I include in these posts because I tend to buy ahead and keep a good stock on hand. That way I can take advantage of sales. So the grocery items don’t always exactly reflect that week’s menu.
My husband eats the bagels. He has a small bowl of oatmeal and a bagel most mornings for breakfast. I’m not really a breakfast eater. I usually just have a cup of tea and wait until lunchtime to eat.
