Somehow it slipped my mind that yesterday was the first of the month and the LWD Book Club post was due. Oops! Sorry about that. I realize this means two posts in one day but I already had the Stargazing Ritual post scheduled for this morning and the rest of the week is planned. So I guess we can just look at this as a bonus, right?

LWD August Book Club Selections
- Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-free Productivity by David Allen
I’m continuing my journey to improve my productivity because there are so many things I want to do and I want to do them well. GTD is a respected productivity method which I’m trying to learn.
2. The Cavendon Luck by Barbara Taylor Bradford
I picked this up at the library and am really enjoying it. However, I just discovered that it is third in a series. Oh, well. I never would have known if I hadn’t looked it up on Amazon so the author has done an excellent job creating a stand-alone story. I will, however, go back and read the first two. If this sounds like an appealing story I would suggest you start with the first one, Cavendon Hall.
3. Enchantment: The Life of Audrey Hepburn by Donald Spoto
I really admire Audrey Hepburn so I’m looking forward to reading this biography.
PREVIOUS LWD BOOK CLUB CHOICES:
I haven’t gotten around to reading “The Enchanted April” from last month yet. I’d intended reading it after finishing the Cthulhu book, but I ended up spending most of July reading and reviewing books I got given free copies of in exchange for doing reviews. Books I get in exchange for doing reviews always get priority with me. I’m currently reading the last of those, so will “hopefully” get to read it soon.
I don’t even want to admit how far behind I am on my own book club selections. 😉
Haha! Well, now I feel better! 😉
