Today is the one year blog anniversary for Life With Dee! I can’t believe it’s been a whole year. Wow…what a ride.
One year ago today I published my first post here on Life With Dee. I had already been blogging for over 9 years but just as a hobby. Finally, I decided that the time was right for me to pursue blogging in a more serious fashion.
I hired my talented daughter, Lisa who blogs at Retro Housewife Goes Green, to build this site for me. Bless her – she was very patient with me and continues to be a huge help whenever I have a question. I’ve learned so much from her!
We had the opportunity to attend the Blog Elevated blogger conference together last fall which was a blast.
Lisa started a blog tribe and invited me to join even though my blog isn’t nearly as a big a deal as anyone else’s in the group. But everyone has been so gracious and I’ve learned so much. In fact, those are two of the best parts about blogging – getting to know some wonderful bloggers and the opportunity to learn.
I have a lot of future plans for Life With Dee. In fact, more plans than I seem to be finding time for. But little by little I’ll get to them. I’d love to hear from you…what would you like to see here? Are there any topics you’d like to see me cover? I want to make sure that I’m sharing the sort of content YOU want to read so please feel free to give me feedback. You can leave me a comment here or email me.
Finally, I’d like to thank YOU, my readers. Without you blogging wouldn’t be any fun. I appreciate every comment, every email, every Facebook “like” and “share”. It means more to me than you can imagine and I am truly grateful for your support.

I’m enjoying the posts you do. Some more than others, of course, but isn’t that always the way? I look forward to seeing what you have planned for the future here. π
What ever happened to the “Shiloh says” posts though?
Deanna Piercy says
Thank you for the reminder. I did have some ideas for “Shiloh Says” posts and then they got shoved to the back burner. Someone else asked for the same thing so I’ll make a point of doing a Shiloh update soon.

I found you through CCU! And was thrilled when my kids & I got to meet you for lunch during our move west. My eldest just got a therapy dog named Shiloh, so we’d like to read about YOUR Shiloh, and see pictures!
