Welcome to the third week of the new LWD Grocery Haul series in which I share our weekly grocery purchases, including prices. I’m always curious to see what others purchase and what food prices are in different countries or regions. I hope you find this new series interesting.

I splurged on some salad kits this week and bought several items on sale. I may end up giving the Oreos to my mom. She said she didn’t need any this week but they were on such a good sale that I figured I’d get some anyway and just hold onto them for her. They are regularly $6.59 but on sale for $4.99.
You may have noticed that I’ve not bought any meat in the past three grocery hauls. I had quite a bit in the freezer and I’m trying to use it up then defrost and restock for fall/winter. I’m also trying to use up some older items in my pantry then I’ll do an inventory and restock.

I have just been amazed at how much a loaf of bread is costing now! It’s crazy!

I know, right?! I’m thinking about baking my own. I haven’t done it regularly in years but now may be the time. I will say, however, that this particular bread is way more than just standard white sandwich bread. I don’t buy it regularly but splurged this week.
