Welcome to the first week of November’s LWD Grocery Haul series in which I share our weekly grocery purchases, including prices. I’m always curious to see what others purchase and what food prices are in different countries or regions. I hope you are finding this series interesting and helpful.

LWD GROCERY HAUL
November 2024 ~ Week One
The local store where I usually order my groceries is still having issues with its online ordering program. I shopped in person at about 7:30 p.m. last night and I think I was one of only two shoppers in the whole store. Hopefully they’ll get their system fixed by next week but at least I’ve figured out a good time to shop.

I just bought 5 pounds of russet potatoes for $3.99 this afternoon…But what a great buy on that whipping cream. It’s so high in price usually. I pay $3.99 for a quart of half and half.

I was really pleased with the cream price. I’m picking up groceries tonight and plan to buy another carton or two for the freezer.
Potatoes have been so much more expensive the past several years. 10 pounds for $4.99 is the cheapest I’ve seen them in quite awhile.
